Riboflavin

Riboflavin

Riboflavin (or Vitamin B2) is an essential vitamin supporting our health by helping to break down food, regulating the body’s energy supply and cellular processes. We can get our daily dose of Riboflavin from the foods we eat like meat (chicken, beef, turkey), fish, dairy, eggs, cereals and whole grains, mushrooms, beans, nuts, avocados, asparagus, broccoli, spinach, sweet potatoes and a bunch of other foods and herbs.

Unfortunately, cooking can eliminate some of the Vitamin B2 content, but eating green vegetables and nuts can ensure that you get your maximum dose. If you’re strictly vegetarian, vegan or lack energy throughout the day, you may want to consider a supplement containing Riboflavin, like our Energia, to get your daily dosage and boost your energy.
